I shared a prayer request on Saturday about The Journey’s NYC Beach Baptism and I wanted to update you this morning…

Between our NYC and South Florida locations, we have baptized 82 people in beach baptism celebrations over the last two weekends.

In fact, our baptisms are up almost 30% so far this year!

That means THE JOURNEY HAS BAPTIZED OVER 1,000 PEOPLE since we launched in 2002!

I can’t help but remember the first baptism we ever had at The Journey, nine years ago this month. We baptized one person.

There’s nothing like seeing the excitement on the faces of people who are “going public” with their faith in Christ through baptism.
