“Never doubt, believer, of your resurrection, since the second Adam was loosed from the bands of the tomb.”
— Charles Spurgeon, “Resurrection — Christ the Firstfruits” sermon, April 20, 1862Â
Dear Pastor,
Charles Spurgeon (1834 – 1892) is one of the most influential preachers of the last few centuries. He preached his first sermon at the age of 16, just a year after his conversion, and became a pastor at age 19.
I’ve read hundreds of Spurgeon’s sermons over the years and recently reread a number of them, finding wonderful insights even in the ones I was already familiar with. I decided to work with my team to compile my Top 12 of Spurgeon’s Easter sermons into a book that is both a preaching resource and a personal devotional.
Within these pages, you’ll find valuable insights, in-depth Scriptural exposition and inspiration for your own work as a pastor.
I have three suggestions for you regarding how to use this e-book:
#1: Use this e-book to prepare your heart for Easter.
#2: Learn from a master pulpiteer.
#3: Share this e-book with other preachers.
(More details about these suggestions inside the book!)
I’m praying from you, and I’d love to hear how this e-book impacts you and your church this Easter. Remember, you’re not reading these sermons by accident; God has something for you and your congregation in these pages.

Spurgeon stressed a Christ-centered focus in preaching. He had the heart of an evangelist and thousands were saved during his almost four decades in ministry. Almost all of his sermons were published.
At the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, he regularly preached to over 10,000 on Sundays — without amplification! In his lifetime, he preached to over 10 million people.
Nelson has literally followed in the footsteps of Spurgeon, traveling to various historical sites in England, including the Metropolitan Tabernacle and Spurgeon’s grave site in London. And Nelson wants you to be as inspired—as he has been—by this “Prince of Preachers.”
Enjoy 12 days of Easter devotions with Spurgeon, and let these sermons inspire and inform your own messages this season! This e-book also includes a bonus report on Spurgeon’s achievements.
“This is one of the things we are to believe that when we have received the Spiritual life, it is in union with the life of Christ, and consequently can never die. Because Christ lives, our life must abide in us forever.”
— Charles Spurgeon, “Resurrection With Christ” sermon, April 12, 1868
