The Pastor's Wife

I went shopping with a friend the other day. Now this is not just any friend but one of my closest and dearest friends. While looking at shoes in Macy’s, my friend ran into someone she knows and proceeds to introduce me, “This is my pastor’s wife, Kelley.” She didn’t say, “Please meet my good friend, Kelley” or “my friend, Kelley, who happens to be my pastor’s wife.” She introduced me only as the pastor’s wife.
